FAQs

What is sex therapy and how can it help?

Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling that helps individuals and partners address concerns related to intimacy, desire, communication, sexual functioning, sexual trauma, and relationship satisfaction. Sex therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore challenges and develop healthier, more fulfilling connections with yourself and others.

Do you work with polyamorous, open, and

consensually non-monogamous relationships?

Yes. I work with individuals, couples, and relationship systems navigating polyamory, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), open relationships, relationship agreements, jealousy, communication challenges, and life transitions. I am polyamorous myself so my personal experiences are weaved into the way I am able to help and support you.

Can therapy help me heal from sexual trauma or relationship trauma?

Absolutely. Trauma can affect intimacy, trust, self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being. Therapy can help you process past experiences, develop coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and rebuild a sense of safety and connection in your life and relationships.

Do you offer LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy?

Yes. As a lesbian myself, I am constantly providing a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported.

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines psychotherapy with ketamine treatment to support deeper emotional processing and healing. KAP may be beneficial for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or feeling stuck in traditional therapy. During a consultation, we can discuss whether this approach may be appropriate for your needs.

Do you offer online therapy as well as KAP in California, Oregon, and Florida?

Yes. I provide secure virtual therapy sessions for clients located in California, Oregon and Florida. KAP will be conducted virtually in any of these states as well. Online therapy offers flexibility and convenience while maintaining the same level of professional care and support as in-person counseling.
